The new Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Suede Lipstick ($7.99 price may vary), how I wanted to love this product. They apply really smooth and creamy almost exactly like their famous Revlon Lip Butters. Freshly applied they feel very moisturizing and not to noticeable unlike most long wearing lipsticks. I was really disappointed by the pigmentation on #035 Backstage. If you have seen the ads or display you will have seen Olivia Wilde wearing this very same color. Unfortunately as you can see from my swatches you will not get the same results with this product alone. After sometime you do begin to notice a slight heavy sticky feeling almost after the moisturizing factors "evaporate" or are absorbed by the lips. I personal noticed it almost right away and it was far more noticeable when going in for a smooch. On the plus side there was no transfer even when I purposely rubbed my lips against my hand. After a look in the mirror there was no shine and just a hint of lip stain remained.
I don't think I would purchase anymore of these lipsticks in fact I have already found them new homes. If you are curios in trying them I suggest waiting for a sale and to start off with one.
